FunnelRover ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.
This Policy applies to visitors to the funnelrover.com website, users of the FunnelRover platform, and contacts of FunnelRover customer organizations whose data is managed through the Platform.
1. Who We Are
FunnelRover is operated by AMCherif. Our platform is used by field sales and marketing teams primarily across West Africa (Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Guinea) and North Africa (Morocco), as well as internationally. For data protection matters, contact us at privacy@funnelrover.com.
2. Data We Collect
From website visitors:
- Demo-request / contact form submissions (name, email, company, country, phone, sector, team size, situation, message)
- Navigation data via Google Tag Manager / Analytics (pages viewed, session duration, traffic source) — see Cookie Policy
From platform users:
- Account information (name, email address, job title, organization)
- Usage data (login history, features used, actions taken within the Platform)
- Communications (support requests, messages)
From contacts managed in the Platform (on behalf of our customers):
- Professional contact data (name, email, phone, employer, role, territory)
- Interaction history (visits, training completions, campaign participation)
- Consent records (opt-in for WhatsApp or email communications)
For this last category, FunnelRover acts as a data processor on behalf of the customer organization, which is the data controller. See the DPA for details.

4. Data Retention

After these periods, data is permanently deleted or anonymized.
5. Your Rights
Under the GDPR and applicable local laws (including Ivorian Law No. 2013-450 on personal data protection), you have the following rights:
- Right of access — request a copy of your personal data
- Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
- Right to erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Right to restriction — request that we limit how we process your data
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@funnelrover.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority in your country.
6. Data Transfers
FunnelRover's infrastructure is hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with data stored in GCP Cloud SQL. For customers in the EU, data may be processed in regions covered by GCP's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
We do not sell your data to third parties. We share data only with:
- Anthropic (AI processing — Claude API) for AI-powered features, under strict data processing terms
- Google (Vertex AI, Analytics) for AI vision features and website analytics
- Flutterwave / Stripe for payment processing
- Twilio / Meta (WhatsApp Business API) for WhatsApp communications
Each of these providers is bound by data processing agreements.
7. Security
FunnelRover implements technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption in transit, encrypted storage of sensitive credentials, multi-tenant data isolation, role-based access controls, soft delete until the end of the retention period, and regular security reviews aligned with the OWASP Top 10.
8. Cookies
We use cookies to operate the Platform (session cookies) and to measure website traffic (Google Analytics). For details on the cookies we use and how to manage your preferences, see our Cookie Policy.
